It seems almost every actor below 30 in hollywood wants a part in the upcoming remake of Footloose. The original movie was released, featured a very young Kevin Bacon and was a HUGE hit.
In the film a man moves to a small town from a big city, falls in love with a slutty local girl and then dances by himself in a grain mill. That’s about all anyone remembers about the film, yes in the 80s it didn’t take much to make a hit movie other than branding.
E! News is now reporting Hayden Panettiere has thrown her hat in the ring as well. Recently auditioning for the filmmakers, a source tells E! News columnist Marc Malkin “They were really impressed. No one realized what a good singer she is.”
